1.5 oz | Hickory Smoked Jack Link’s Jerky Infused Mezcal |
0.5 oz | Vanilla Agave Syrup |
1 oz | Lime Juice |
Barspoon | Orange Marmalade |
Instructions
INFUSED MEZCAL
- In a mason jar or heat-proof bowl, microwave 1 piece (1.5 x 1.5 inch square) of jerky on high for 20 seconds.
- Take vessel out of microwave and pour in 3 1/3 oz (100ml) Mezcal (should sizzle and take on flavour of warm jerky and oil).
- Let sit at room temperature for an hour. For better results, transfer to freezer and let any oil solids form (about 1 hour).
- Filter through coffee filter and use.
COCKTAIL
- Add all ingredients into a shaker tin and shake without ice to break down jam.
- Add ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
- Strain into rocks glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with small hickory smoked jerky skewer and burnt orange twist.
